Douglas Walker was born in Pekin, IL in 1982. After graduating with a BFA in 2005 with an emphasis in sculpture and ceramics, playing music brought him out to southern California. Finally, after visual art had taken a backseat to playing in bands for years, Walker started working at art galleries and installing for art handling companies, presenting the opportunity, energy, and inspiration to create new bodies of work.
Douglas Walker currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
